Huntsville Hospital Pediatric Playground

Average to art has the opportunity to paint the 66' x 13' mural for the Huntsville Hospital Pediatric Playground. The opening is May 17th and we are too excited to see the kids enjoy their new space. Thanks to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation for making this dream a reality.
If you are at Huntsville Hospital, the play area can be accessed through the cafeteria below the Pediatric ER. When you look at the mural, try and find the hidden elements below:

Brown Square
Blue Diamond
Purple Star

1- Butterfly
1-spider
3- bees
7- lady bugs

Decorative Artist Exchange Meeting

The Decorative Artist Exchange is back in action. Those of us who took part in the meetings last 2 years have kept in touch and benefited from knowing each other, both personally and professionally. Let’s continue the unity in 2007.

To recap, the exchange includes decorative painters, muralists and other professionals in similar mediums.

A few of our goals are to help support & promote our profession through discussions and education at quarterly meetings. Our exchange will also include discussions about current trends in the market, pricing and product knowledge.

You are cordially invited to our next Decorative Artist Exchange meeting Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 6:30pm at Shea’s Express. They have great atmosphere, coffee drinks, desserts and an extensive lunch/dinner menu. To see more and get directions, click on the link http://www.cynsheas.com/express/

We are trying our best to reach as many finishers and muralists in the area to be a part of the Exchange. If you know of any professionals in the field, please feel free to invite them along or pass on the information to us and we will contact them directly.

We have many ideas to promote the DAE and our artists and can’t wait to share!
Please bring your portfolio, business cards, and a positive attitude.

If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call or e-mail. See you on the 22nd!
